Excerpts from comments:

Alan and Tina after visit to house, 23 April 2023:

Thank you for providing the really interesting viewing inside your home on Saturday, coupled with your knowledgeable associated history. We very much enjoyed chatting to Sir Simon and yourself after the tour about my Great Grandfather’s tenure as Head Gardener from 1890 to 1898.

Anita after visit to gardens, 16 February 2023:

Yesterday, I had the good fortune of visiting your gardens - simply stunning! I was blessed with time to marvel and pray in God's creation. Thank you for sharing your blessings with others. It was a treasured time.

Cara and Tom after wedding, 17 July 2022:

I just wanted to drop you a note to say thank you so much for all your help with organising our wedding on Friday just gone. We had the most amazing time and everything was absolutely stunning.

Barbara after visit, 16 July 2022:

Many thanks for your tour. We really enjoyed it, and your lovely gardens and lake.

Julia after visit to house and gardens, 3 July 2022:

I just wanted to say thank you for the most beautiful day exploring your stunning gardens. The children loved the tree swing, and we had a lovely picnic with my parents.

The lake and scenery were absolutely stunning. This has been one of my favourite places to visit!

Inken after visit to house and gardens, 9 June 2022:

Thank you so much for the opportunity to see your wonderful home and grounds. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit yesterday. The rooms we saw felt homely, and it was a delight to get a sense of family life for HRH The Queen Mother and the happy times spent there relaxing with her family. It was easy to imagine the giggles from to young princesses riding the rocking horse.

Roddy after bringing a group to visit to house and gardens, 28 May 2022:

Thank you so much for a wonderful morning on Thursday! We have had a positive chorus of admiration of your house and its garden and for the quality of the commentary on it. I myself felt that the house had an entirely unique charm and beauty; a house lived in by generations of Bowes Lyons and looked after and embellished by each of them.  I gathered from some of those who came that their highlight was the fascinating introductory talk about the garden given by Sir Simon.

Bride and groom after wedding, 28 August 2021:

Just wanted to drop a note to say a huge thank you for last weekend!! Your house and grounds are absolutely amazing, we had so many compliments on the venue, and everything ran so smoothly!

Thanks to you again, and we will definitely be back for a visit of the gardens in the future!

After engagement film shoot, 30 August 2021:

I just wanted to reach out and offer my sincerest gratitude for being able to use your gardens. The gardens are absolutely stunning, with so many beautiful spots, I loved it, as did my fiancé, and the photographers were so impressed with my choice.

My fiancé and I can’t wait to visit again in a more relaxed setting. We thank you once again, for allowing us to make our day even more memorable and look forward to visiting again very soon.

After visit to garden, 7 September 2021:

I wanted to say a big thank you to you as I brought my Mum to your gardens on Friday in her wheelchair and we had the most wonderful afternoon exploring the paths and hidden areas. The planting is delightful and attracts so many bees and butterflies. We also spent a peaceful moment sitting looking at the view of the lake.
